I have been talking to you a lot about seasons lately.

This wasn’t because it was just something on my mind but rather,

Something the Lord placed upon my heart.

When you notice that certain topics are on your mind for a period of time and it becomes the lens you’re viewing out of during that time,

It’s a time to reflect and sit with God and confirm with Him that you are seeing correctly.

It’s important to ask Him for clarity because it is likely what’s on His heart.

You start to notice that many people online are talking about similar things and you notice a pattern because the Holy Spirit is speaking to multiple people who will share His heart openly.

This way more people will hear His message.

When certain people including yourself realize that you’re relating to the message you know that it is significant for more than just your life.

Here we are at the end of another year.

Have you accomplished what you thought you would?

Have you locked in a plan for the next year with attainable goals?

Most importantly, have you set them before the Lord and bathed them in prayer?

What do you plan to do differently with your time in 2025?

How will you manage your focus in that time?

You may need to readjust some priorities.

Figure out what you might be putting before your time with God, and shift.

Matthew 6:33 says “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and HIS righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Put Him and His Kingdom FIRST.

Everything else will fall into place according to His will.

The best way to get ahead in your planning is to sit down and write it out.

Put pen to paper.

Digital is great too, but there is power in physically writing out your goals.

What are your goals for each area of your life and how can you fit that into each week?

Breaking it up that way (into sections) allows you to see where you need to eliminate unnecessary time stealers.

What are your non-negotiables in order to reach your goals?

It’s time for you to be serious about them.

God gave us 24 hours in each day and it is important to use that time wisely.

Time is also a gift.

Tomorrow is not promised.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven."

meaning that God has an appointed times for everything in our lives.

Psalm 90:12 says, "So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom." meaning we need to be wise stewards of our time, considering they are numbered. Realizing there is limited time should lead us to wisdom of the mind and the heart in making decisions about our time.

James 4:14 says, "Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes." letting us know that we need to literally cherish every moment as they will disappear as fast as a mist.

Ephesians 5:15-16 says, "Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time because the days are evil." This means, pay attention to your walk. Not your physical steps but how do you move? How do you operate? Every minute of productivity will be worth it when you use it wisely so you can then rest wisely. When it says the days are evil, it refers to the things that rise every day, such as deception.

Colossians 4:5 says,  "Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time." What this verse is saying is to be mindful, be cognizant of how you are treating those around you, as every moment gives us an opportunity to exemplify the character of Jesus and the fruits of the spirit.

Whew, these verses are heavy.

I love the Word of God because it always drops wisdom bombs and leads us to reflect.

What will you do differently this year to make sure you don’t waste a single moment?

How will you love people?

How will you serve people?

How will you give back to the Kingdom of God?

Better yet, how will you help build it?

How will you practically apply the Word of God to your life?

I want you to reflect on all of this today and ask the Lord for guidance and direction.

Your thoughts and plans need to be completely surrendered to Him as you move into the New Year.

Happy New Year!

Stay bold in your faith, and walk like Enoch.
